Synopsis

It's a routine Friday night in the Fitness Center when Derek suddenly stumbles upon the beautiful new girl.

Romantically impaired, Derek's initial instinct is to flee. However - his workout partner turned wingman recognizes the instant chemistry between the two and attempts to steer Derek into his first date in over a year.

David’s professional credits include a guest starring role in CBS’s “The Guiding Light”, and principal roles in NBC’s “Conviction” and Universal Picture's “American Gangster”. David is a proud alumnus of The University of Georgia Theater program, and has recently relocated to Atlanta to take part in the city’s promising TV and film industry. After co-founding Foray Filmworks LLC in 2011 with longtime friend Reginald Hobbs, David starred as ‘Derek Pearson’ in the Foray Filmworks short film, “Sweet Dreams”, which also marked his directorial debut. In “The Fitness Center”, David not only reprises the role of the Derek Pearson, but serves as the series writer and director among other creative responsibilities. Carole graduated from the UGA Theater program in 2010. Carole is a Congolese-American actress, host, and writer, currently residing in New York City. Her credits include several films, TV series, and commercials including Proactiv, "Murder in Black & White", and Comcast Digital Cable. Before moving from Atlanta to New York, Carole recently completed the first season of the original web series "Bethany", which can be seen online at tinyurl.com/BethanyWebSeries. Keeping busy in 2012, Carole also completed the uneasy thriller, “The Visit”, and rounded out the year with the romantic comedy, “Jerks II”. Amy Chiang

Amy Chiang

Amy was born in Taiwan and came to the U.S. as an exchange student at the age of 14. In the U.S., she received her B.A. in Dance/Theater from San Jose State University. Highlights of her career include training with the Taiwanese Dance Experimental Program, appearing in various commercial and film productions, and performing in the Broadway National Tour of “The King and I”. The latest leg of the national tour included 2012 performances at the famous Wolf Trap Theater and in her current home town at Atlanta’s Fabulous Fox Theater.
